Shingletree Pond is a good place of normal precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; February on the other hand is the driest. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Ticonderoga Inn & Suites, and on a splendid day you can take a hike along the Dix Trail. So many fun things to do at Shingletree Pond, so little time. If the weather is wonderful here at Shingletree       Pond, you can go for a hike along the Weston Trail; Paradise Pines Camping Resort is a great campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Very pretty scenery and great skiing is what you get at Whiteface Mountain; The Branch has a good whitewater paddling spot close by. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Shingletree Pond. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's while                  the cold winter nights at Shingletree Pond are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Man, is there a lot of entertaining stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains. A quick journey to East Mill Brook right next door to Shingletree Pond is a perfect idea; if you're here you can take a hike along the Peaked Hill Trail. You clearly ought to like the Adirondack Mountains. Ticonderoga - Super 8 Motel is a wonderful location to get some rest; you can catch a glimpse of Buck Mountain from Shingletree Pond. Shingletree Pond is located in the Adirondack Mountains.
