If you are traveling by, why not stop by Shew Pond. So many entertaining things to do in the Adirondack Mountains, not enough time. Swamps can be such out of the ordinary places, stop by Merry Vly while you're here at Shew Pond, and you can stay the night at Sacandaga Trailer Court. This lake is so wonderful. Four Seasons Motel is a good site to get some rest, and paddling on East Stony Creek is so much fun. Shew Pond gets a large amount of water; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain while February is usually the driest month. Shew Pond is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains.

Birch Haven is a fine place. After a long day outdoors Broadalbin Hotel is a nice place to spend a night or two, and Shew Pond is a site with many visitors from Gloversville. High temperatures at Shew Pond all through the summertime
are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Shew Pond.
There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Adirondack Mountains. Sacandaga
Golf Club is a golf course near Shew Pond, and going for a hike along the Oregon Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.
