If you like lakes and you're in this part of New York you can check out Sherman Lake. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant place to camp here at Sherman Lake is Lake George/Schroon valley Resort, and going for a hike on the Pharoah Mountain Trail is always a good adventure. Camping at American Campgrounds Of Schroon River is always a tremendous experience; West Mountain is a tremendous local ski area. and for you golfers we recommend nearby Green Mansion Golf Course. A common amount of rain falls here at Sherman Lake; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and January is when it's the driest. This is no place
for people who don’t like to have a good time.
That right there is a load already, but it keeps on going; Sherman Lake has it all. If you need a place to stay Lake George/Warrensburg Super 8 Motel is a great choice, and if you
get bored of Sherman Lake you could also stop at close by Streeter Pond. People from Glens Falls love to come to Sherman Lake; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Gore Mountain is relatively near. This lake is so wonderful. Near Sherman
Lake you come across the Spectacle Pond Trail which is a fine hiking trail; swing by Alder Brook it's a splendid place to have a look at.
