The slopes of West Mountain are so inviting nobody                  can resist, and The Sagamore is a nice place to get some rest. Why not camp at American Campgrounds Of Schroon River since you're here at Sherman Lake. Lakes? Sure, Burnt Pond is close at hand. An average amount of rainfall falls at Sherman Lake; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while January is regularly the driest month. Crystal Lake is a splendid lake near Sherman Lake; nearby you discover the Long Swing Trail which is a perfect hiking trail. Everybody close by loves skiing at Gore Mountain; the vista of wonderful Amasa Mountain is great. Sherman Lake is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Green Mansion Golf Course is nearby, and there is a nice hiking trail nearby called the Pharoah Mountain Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Adirondack Mountains.
