After a long day outdoors Best Western Ticonderoga Inn & Suites is a delightful place to spend a night or two. Yep, outdoors cool things truly is abundant here in the Adirondack Mountains. A tremendous close by hotel is Super 8 Motel Ticonderoga, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Lost Pond Trail. For the period of the summer highs here at Sherman Lake       reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's while Sherman Lake overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. Lakes are such calm locations, why not take a look at Goosepuddle Pond next to Sherman Lake, and magnificent hiking is available along the Bear Pond Trail. The amount of precipitation that falls at Sherman Lake is close to the national average; August is the month that gets the most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
