This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful place to camp here at Sheltered Lakes is Green Acres By The Brook; if you need a place to stay Northern Lake George Resort is a good choice. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Adirondack Mountains. At Sheltered Lakes you can observe Berry Hill, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby West Mountain. The warmest time of the       year at Sheltered Lakes arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Sheltered Lakes are in the 0's. Sheltered Lakes gets a typical amount of annual rainfall; through August this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. If you like the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Sheltered Lakes.                  Playing golf is lots of fun at Valley View Golf Course, and get covered with water paddling on Mettawee River. Why not camp at Brookwood Park Campsite since you're here at Sheltered Lakes, and there is a tremendous hiking trail close by called the Lost Pond Trail. All the outdoors cool stuff in the Adirondack Mountains will keep you coming back persistently. This is a great vicinity for folks who like lakes. Pine Lake is a lake close by, and close by you hit upon the Berrymile Pond Trail which is a nice hiking trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. Willard Mountain has great slopes and a friendly staff. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of folks from Glens Falls come to Sheltered Lakes; going for a hike on the Treadway Mountain Trail is always a splendid adventure.
