This place, the Adirondack Mountains, has so much outdoors amusing things. After a long day outdoors The Sagamore is a perfect place to spend a night or two; Berry Hill is delightful and can be spotted from here. Head up to West Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Sheltered Lakes; the nighttime is quite chillier of course, regularly in the 50's. Daytime       highs through the wintertime are in the 20's; nighttime lows in the 0's for Sheltered Lakes. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Adirondack Mountains. In case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mettawee River, and the Treadway Mountain Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Valley View Golf Course; dry warm beds                  await you at Super 8 Motel Ticonderoga. So much amusing stuff to do here at Sheltered Lakes, too great to be true. On a fine day at Sheltered Lakes you can take a hike along the Berrymile Pond Trail. Lakes are great; Pine Lake is a lake that's close to Sheltered Lakes. Lots of folks from Glens Falls come to Sheltered Lakes. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Sheltered Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Adirondack Camp. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Green Acres By The Brook, and if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Lost Pond Trail. Whitewater paddling is great on Poultney River; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Lapland Pond.
