Shaw Pond is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. This is a great vicinity for people who like lakes. Long Lake Reservoir is a lake around here. Whispering woods is a perfect local campground, and the summit of East Inlet Mountain can be seen from Shaw Pond. Yeah, come here to Shaw Pond for a good time. There is a nice hiking trail near Shaw Pond called the Northville Lake Placid       Trail; why not visit nearby Big Brook since you're here at Shaw Pond. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Rock River, and why not camp at Hoss's Country Campground since you're here at Shaw Pond. High temperatures at Shaw Pond during the summertime months are in the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's                  with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Shaw Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Near Shaw Pond you stumble on the Sucker Brook Trail which is a good hiking trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Raquette River offers some great whitewater. Shaw Pond is a quite wet place typically with a lot of rain; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while February is commonly the driest month. So much amusing stuff in the Adirondack Mountains, just inspiring. Don't forget to stop by Kellers Bay while you're here at Shaw Pond; dry warm beds await you at Woodlake Inn. A swamp like Big Marsh near Shaw Pond has lots of out of the ordinary things to see.
