Do schedule some time to stop by Kellers Bay close to Shaw Pond if you have a chance; lakes are such serene sites, why not take a look at Park Lake. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun things the area in the neighborhood of Shaw Pond has to offer. Don't forget to take a wonderful little visit to Big Brook; why not take a refreshing hike along       the Sucker Brook Trail. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Adirondack Mountains. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Rock River, and if you need a site to stay Woodlake Inn is a brilliant choice. This lake is so wonderful. Float down the rapids of Raquette River in a kayak. At Shaw Pond during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. For                  the duration of the wintertime highs are mostly in the 20's with temperatures at Shaw Pond dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. The Northville Lake Placid Trail offers hiking at its best, and there are other places here than Shaw Pond, for example Long Lake Reservoir. Shaw Pond is a wet site that gets a lot of rain; the wettest month of the year is usually August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is February. There's so much to do here at Shaw Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Whispering woods is a brilliant site for that, and if you like swamps you're in luck, Big Marsh is right close by. This lake is so wonderful. At Shaw Pond you can spot East Inlet Mountain.
