All our national parks are perfect locations to explore, and Upper Delaware Scenic & Recreational River is no exception. A lot of rainfall falls at Shandelee Lake; throughout the month of May you get the most rain around here while February is regularly the driest month. Gotta ski! Holiday Mountain is a perfect location to do that, and Shandelee Lake is a glorious site to visit       for more than one day, Roscoe Campsites is a glorious site to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Shandelee Lake you can take a hike along the Schiff Trail, and a magnificent spot for whitewater paddling is Callicoon Creek - North Branch. At Shandelee Lake during the long summer days highs are in the 80's, and the nighttime is fairly cooler of course, typically in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with                  temperatures at Shandelee Lake dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. Dry warm beds await you at Villa Roma Resort Lodges, and you can run the rapids of Beaver Kill River. Camp Shomria is a great local campground; if you need a spot to stay Howard Johnson Inn Liberty NY is a tremendous choice. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things close to Shandelee Lake. Shandelee Lake is not the only place close by, Carlson Pond is a close by lake; golf can be played at Twin Village Golf Club.
