Why not visit close by Shandelee Brook if you're here at Shandelee Lake, and a day on the slopes of Holiday Mountain is just what you need. A large amount of rain falls at Shandelee Lake; through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and February on the other hand is the driest. High temperatures at Shandelee Lake through the days of summer are in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down       to the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are ordinarily in the 30's with temperatures at Shandelee Lake dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. Paddling on Callicoon Creek - North Branch is so much fun, and camping is available at Roscoe Campsites. Howard Johnson Inn Liberty NY is a tremendous place to get some rest. Whitewater paddling is brilliant on Beaver Kill River, and a golf course nearby                  is Twin Village Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. A great place to camp here at Shandelee Lake is Camp Shomria, and a spree to Upper Delaware Scenic & Recreational River is worthwhile.
