    Do stop by Seward Pond while you're in this part of New York. So much exciting stuff in the Adirondack Mountains, just tremendous. Seward Pond is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Camp Cherokee is a delightful local campground; Big Eddy is always fun to check out. This lake is so wonderful. A good place to camp here at Seward Pond is Cedar Pond Campground, and you can have a tremendous hiking adventure along the McKenzie Pond Trail. Going for  
   a hike along the Northville Lake Placid Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and the slopes of Mount Pisgah are so inviting nobody can resist.
And that's not all the things to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. Get your heart beating on the tremendous whitewater of Cold River. But wait, there's more to do near Seward Pond. If you need a location to stay THE HOTEL SARANAC is a nice choice, and a great location for whitewater paddling
 
               is Rock River. Seward Pond is located in the Adirondack Mountains.
Seward Pond gets a normal amount of rain; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Dry warm beds await you at Woodlake Inn; do take a hike on the Indian Pass Trail. High temperatures at Seward Pond throughout the warmest time of the year are in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are usually in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Seward Pond are in the 0's.
