    Why not stop by Seneca Lake if you're passing through these parts. Mill Creek is a stream that you may come across while you're here, and Keuka Outlet is a perfect whitewater spot nearby. There's so much to do here at Seneca Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Eagle Ridge Campground is a delightful place for that, and a journey to nearby Lodi Point is very relaxing. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked,  
   you can always go whitewater paddling on Taughannock Creek; at Seneca Lake you always meet someone from Seneca Falls.
Seneca Lake gets a typical amount of rainfall; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is January. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Seneca Lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Seneca Lake; Ravine Trail is a fine local trail; if you're a golfer then a perfect
 
               close by course is Bonavista State Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. The Potomac Trail offers hiking at its best.
You'll need more than a day to explore everything Seneca Lake has to offer, you can camp at Sunset-on-seneca Campsites; after a long day outdoors Longhouse Lodge Motel is a great spot to spend a night or two. Good hiking is available along the Interloken Trail; Sunset on Seneca B N B is a glorious place to get some rest. The warmest time of the year at Seneca Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. All through the winter highs are commonly in the 30's with temperatures at Seneca Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights.
