Sunset-on-seneca Campsites is a great campground nearby; why not a little side journey to Mill Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Taughannock Creek is a great whitewater spot next to Seneca Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Interloken Trail. You'll meet a lot of people from Seneca Falls here; a great nearby hotel is Long House       Manor Bed and Breakfast. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Seneca Lake. You can run the rapids of Keuka Outlet in the neighborhood of Seneca Lake, and lakes are such calm places, why not stop by Van Cleef Lake. For the duration of the summer months here at Seneca Lake, high temperatures regularly reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's with temperatures                  at Seneca Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. A trip to close by Lodi Point is very relaxing; why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Bonavista State Golf Course. Good hiking is available along the Potomac Trail. A common amount of rain falls here at Seneca Lake; most of the rain falls throughout June, and the driest month is January. This lake is so wonderful.
