    If you are in this part of New York make sure to pay a visit to Second Reservoir. Take a look at nearby Green Swamp, and if you need a place to stay Howard Johnson Inn is a pleasant choice. A great close by hotel is Candlewood Suites Nanuet-Rockland County, Ny, and Minisceongo Golf Club is a great golf course nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
If you go for the outdoors, you'll like Second Reservoir. New Sebago Beach is in the vicinity of Second Reservoir
 
   and is a picturesque beach to stop at; you can have a delightful hiking adventure along the Suffern-Bear Mountain Trail. A magnificent place to camp here at Second Reservoir is Camp wabenaki; while you're here you can take a hike along the Breakneck Ridge Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Third Reservoir is in the neighborhood, and hiking along the Woodtown Trail is good fun.
Summer at Second Reservoir arrives with high temperatures in the
 
               80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 60's. During the winter the highs are mostly in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Second Reservoir plunge into the 10's. You must without doubt take a look at stunning Old Sebago Beach while you're here at Second Reservoir; you can hit the slopes at Mt. Peter close at hand. First Reservoir is a delightful lake close to Second Reservoir; there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Popolopen Creek.
So many entertaining things to do here at Second Reservoir, too great to be true. Camping at National Camp Assn is always a fine experience, and if the weather is beautiful, you get a wonderful sight of Big Hill from Second Reservoir. File Factory Hollow is close to Second Reservoir and is absolutely a fine site to stop at; getting to Beaver Pond Brook from Second Reservoir is painless. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Ramapo River offers some great whitewater, and Sterling Forest has nice slopes and a friendly staff.
Second Reservoir sees pretty high levels of rain; the wettest month of the year is frequently May, that's the one that rains the most while February is mostly the driest month.
