Yep, outdoors cool things to do are truly plentiful here at Scribner Pond. If you're here at Scribner Pond, you could visit Beartown Brook. At Scribner Pond throughout the summer months highs are in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are regularly in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Scribner Pond. And if that's not sufficient there's a load more cool things       to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Salmon River, and why not camp at Twin Ells Campsites if you're here at Scribner Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Plattsburgh-Days Inn, needless to say you could also pop by Mead Reservoir since you're here; it's not far at all. Econo Lodge Plattsburgh is a tremendous place to get some rest; there are some tremendous                  whitewater spots on Saranac River. If you came for an overnight stay Macomb Reservation is a nice place to camp, and folks from Plattsburgh love to come here. From a precipitation point of view Scribner Pond is a rather common spot; the month with most of the rain is August; the driest month of the year is February.
