And that's not everything there is to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Scribner Pond, and the nighttime is slightly colder of course, commonly in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Scribner Pond through the winter usually plunge into the 0's. Lakes are great; Patterson Reservoir is a lake that's next to Scribner Pond, and whitewater paddling is tremendous on Saranac River. This is a splendid vicinity for folks who like lakes. Mead Reservoir is a lake in the neighborhood, and if you came to camp Macomb Reservation is a good place to do that. This lake is so wonderful.
