An average amount of rainfall falls at Scott Lake; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is February. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by West Mountain, and Alexandra B and B is a tremendous place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Visit West Branch Black Creek since you're here at Scott Lake, and Scott Lake is a spot with many visitors       from Glens Falls. This lake is so wonderful. And if you're still looking for more outdoors cool things just keep reading. Why not camp at Battenkill Sportsquarters Camping since you're here at Scott Lake, and if you need a place to stay Arcady At The Sunderland Lodge is a nice choice. A glorious spot to camp here at Scott Lake is Lake Lauderdale Campgrounds; Batten Kill River is a great whitewater spot nearby. At Scott Lake you can spot Hebron Mountain,                  and in case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mettawee River. For the period of the warm days of summer at Scott Lake temperatures are commonly in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Scott Lake.
