Beautiful Science Lake has much to offer visitors. A tremendous nearby hotel is Seneca Allegany Casino & Hotel, and why not head up to Holimont and strap some skis to your feet. Summertime highs at Science Lake commonly tend to be in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Science Lake through the winter typically dip into the 10's.

| | East Koa Kampgrounds is always a delightful experience, and nearby you discover the Trail Number 9 which is a fine hiking trail. Science Lake regularly gets a lot of rain; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily September, that's the one that rains the most while February is commonly the driest month. Any time is a fine time at Science Lake if you like the outdoors. You're most likely into lakes, Number Three Reservoir is one of those close by, and Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites
Salamanca, Ny is a great location to get some rest. The good folks of Olean like to hang out close by, and a good spot to camp here at Science Lake is Highbank Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Blacksnake Mountain is lovely and
can be seen from Science Lake; there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Trail Number 4 A.
Dry Brook is one of the streams nearby that might be worth visiting; Holiday Valley is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood.
