If you are in Essex county it's always a good idea to stop by Schofield Pond. The annual rainfall here at Schofield Pond is about average; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Schofield Pond is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Adirondack Mountains. There are glorious places to look at along the Long Swing Trail, and getting to Burnt Mill Brook

This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Schofield Pond without first going for a hike along the Short Swing Trail. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things in the Adirondack Mountains. Ticonderoga - Super 8 Motel is a wonderful site to get some rest, and why not camp at Paradise Pines Camping Resort if you're here at Schofield Pond. Pond reach the 70's, and the night is fairly chillier of course, usually in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Schofield Pond temperatures descend
to the 0's.
This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Knob Pond; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Schroon River. Schofield Pond is not the only place nearby, Goose Pond is a nearby
lake, and one of the major traits of the surroundings of Schofield Pond is Bald Pate. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things near Schofield Pond. There's whitewater on Putnam Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and a
good place to camp here at Schofield Pond is Echo Lake Southwoods.
After a long day outdoors Best Western Ticonderoga Inn & Suites is a nice place to spend a night or two, and going for a hike on the Peaked Hill Trail is always a perfect adventure.
