This lake is so wonderful. High temperatures at Schodack Pond all through the months of summer are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. Highs all through the wintertime are ordinarily in the 30's with temperatures at Schodack Pond dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. Why not stop at nearby Mill River if you're here at Schodack Pond, and if you're looking for a beach close by we recommend       Long Beach. Lakes? Sure, Hempstead Lake is in the neighborhood; you'll meet a lot of people from New York-Newark-Edison here. If you need a location to stay Best Western Mill River Manor is a great choice, and Lido Beach is a beach close by that you can take a look at. If time allows, Gateway National Recreation Area is a national park worth going to. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Schodack Pond has to offer, you can camp at Brookwood                  Camps. All the water falling down from the sky makes Schodack Pond a wet site; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This is no location for people who don’t like to have fun. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by South Pond; Rockville Centre Inn is a wonderful place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. A golf course near Schodack Pond is Middle Bay Country Club.
