Sawmill Pond is located in the Adirondack Mountains. Paddling on Mettawee River is so much fun, and you get a glorious view of The Saddles from here. Having a good time in the Adirondack Mountains is easy. Get drenched paddling on Poultney River, and at Sawmill Pond you always meet someone from Glens Falls. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun stuff the area right next door to Sawmill Pond has to offer. The       skiing at West Mountain is great, and Sawmill Pond is a good site to camp, Bomoseen State Park Campground is a good site. There is a delightful hiking trail next to Sawmill Pond called the Glen Lake Trail, and a great nearby hotel is From The Heart Motel. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Willard Mountain. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the Adirondack Mountains has to offer. If you need a site to stay Budget Inn is a brilliant                  choice, and going for a hike on the Bomoseen Hiking Loop is always a tremendous adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Valley View Golf Course is a golf course in close proximity to Sawmill Pond, and you'll find a scenic lake called Clear Pond. Summertime highs at Sawmill Pond usually tend to be in the 80's while night lows are generally in the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Sawmill Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Sawmill Pond is fine fun, Green Acres By The Brook is a fine local campground, and you can go for a hike on the Lost Pond Trail.
