Sand Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. All the water falling down from the sky makes Sand Pond a wet place; May is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest. Glide down the rapids of Mill Brook in a kayak. There's so much to do here at Sand Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Willowemoc Campgrounds is a nice place for that. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things in the Catskill Mountains.

This lake is located in the wonderful Catskill Mountains. If you need a spot to stay Days Inn Of Liberty is a good choice; Holiday Mountain is a very popular ski area around here. So many enjoyable things to do at Sand Pond, so little time. Hiking along the Seager West Branch Trail is brilliant fun, and some of the water close by flows, like Butternut Brook.

Hit the slopes at Belleayre nearby. Lakes? Sure, Alder Lake is close at hand. All year is a nice time in the Catskill Mountains if you adore the outdoors. Dry warm beds await you at Howard Johnson Inn Liberty NY, and Sand Pond is
great enough to spend more than a day at, Covered Bridge Campsite is a great local campground. For the duration of the summertime months at Sand Pond highs are commonly in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Sand Pond.
