Sand Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! The Adirondack Mountains is excellent! The snow is perfect at McCauley Mountain, and you'll find a beautiful lake called Woodhull Lake. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll like Sand Lake. Why not stop by Brooktrout Point also if you're here, and unsurprisingly Grindstone Creek is a stunning stream that is worth visiting. You'll need more than a

| | day to explore everything Sand Lake has to offer, you can camp at Singing waters Campground, and there's splendid hiking along the Forty Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Twin Lakes Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Black River near Sand Lake, and do pop by Lily Lake, it's a charming lake. Lake is Black River - South Branch; Sand Lake is a perfect site to visit for more than one day, Nicks Lake Campgrounds is a perfect site to camp nearby. Sand Lake is a wet location that gets much rain; the month with most of the rain
is August, and February is when it's the driest. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors exciting things the Adirondack Mountains has to offer. Don't leave Sand Lake without first going for a hike along the Stone Dam Trail,
and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Woods Valley is rather near. All through the months of summer at Sand Lake temperatures are regularly in the 70's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Sand Lake fall into the 0's.
