A common amount of rain falls here at Saint James Lake; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. For the duration of the days of summer here at Saint James Lake, high temperatures commonly reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Through the winter the highs are generally in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Saint James Lake       through the wintertime generally dip into the 0's. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Saint James Lake. If you come at the right time of year, Black Creek offers some tremendous whitewater. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Dry Hill, and Candlewood Suites LERAY-WATERTOWN is a good location to get some rest. If you came for an overnight stay Ripplewood Campground is a great location to camp, and whitewater                  paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Black River. Looking for some flowing water? Try Felts Mills Creek, and Kelly's Travel Trailer Park is a fine local campground. This lake is so wonderful.
