Near Saddle Lake you hit upon a golf course called Bay Meadows Golf Club; after a long day outdoors Glens Falls/Queensbury Super 8 Motel is a wonderful place to spend a night or two. The sight of Grant Mountain from Saddle Lake is pretty, and Spier Falls is an inspiring site to check out while you're here. A beautiful lake like Moreau Lake in close proximity to Saddle Lake       is a pleasant location to explore, and a day at picturesque Haviland Cove Beach in the vicinity of Saddle Lake is a tremendous thing to do. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby West Mountain, and Cold Brook Campsites is a magnificent local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Hit the slopes at Willard Mountain close by, and if you need a spot to stay Residence Inn by Marriott Saratoga Springs is a wonderful choice. The high level of rainfall                  makes Saddle Lake a rather wet location; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Hudson River is a magnificent whitewater spot close to Saddle Lake, and Saddle Lake is a pleasant site to visit for more than one day, American Campground is a pleasant site to camp nearby. Through the days of summer highs here at Saddle Lake get into the 70's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Saddle Lake. There are plenty of people from Glens Falls here at Saddle Lake, and lakes are such peaceful locations, why not stop by Lake Ann. This place, Saddle Lake, it absolutely has so much outdoors fun stuff. The landscape around Saddle Lake is dominated by the Palmertown Range, and Little Snook Kill is one of the streams close by that might be worth visiting.
