So much entertaining stuff close to Rushford Lake, just extraordinary. What would winter be without some skiing at Swain; there's whitewater on Genesee River for all you adrenaline junkies. The amount of rain that falls at Rushford Lake is close to the national average; through the month of June you get the most rain around here, and February is the month with the least moisture.       For the duration of the warm months at Rushford Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows through the winter for Rushford Lake tend to be in the 10's. A good close by hotel is Econo Lodge Cuba, and a trip to Arrowhead Bay is always a great idea. This lake is so wonderful. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can take a look at Caneadea Dam,                  and a round of golf at nearby Allegheny Hills Golf Course is a brilliant way to kill some time. Take a side journey to Rush Creek, and Hickory Lake Campgrounds is a tremendous campground nearby.
