Throughout the months of summer at Rush Reservoir highs are usually in the 80's while night lows are generally in the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Rush Reservoir temperatures descend to the 10's. Camping is available at Hidden Acre Family Campground, and if you need a location to stay Super 8 Motel - Henrietta/Rochester Area is a magnificent       choice. Wild Wood Country Club is a wonderful golf course nearby; get yourself into a kayak and hit Irondequoit Creek. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Conesus Lake Campground is a brilliant site to camp, and people from Rochester love to come here. An average amount of rain falls at Rush Reservoir; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is January. After a long day outdoors                  Rit Inn & Conference Center is a magnificent site to spend a night or two; get dripping wet paddling on Erie Canal.
