Round Pond is located in the Adirondack Mountains. That right there is plenty of exciting things already but it goes on, the Adirondack Mountains has it all. Not far from Round Pond, you'll hit upon Duck Pond which is a stunning lake, and whitewater paddling is nice on Schroon River. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Treadway Mountain Trail, and everybody close by loves skiing at West Mountain.       Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this site. Lakes? Sure, Long Pond is in the vicinity; Round Pond is right by the Pharoah Mountain Trail. Round Pond gets a normal amount of annual precipitation; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month of the year is January. People from Glens Falls love to come to Round Pond, and Schroon River has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot nearby. Throughout the summer at Round Pond highs are ordinarily                  in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's; night lows at Round Pond throughout the wintertime commonly drop into the 0's. Hiking along the Berrymile Pond Trail is great fun. There's so much to do here at Round Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Point O' Pines is a tremendous site for that. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for some flowing water? Try Wolf Pond Brook, and if you need a location to stay Blue Lagoon on Lake Georg is a perfect choice. Be careful coming to the Adirondack Mountains, you might not ever want to return home again.
