This lake is so wonderful. The Ash Pond Trail is a delightful hiking trail near Round Pond. Lakes? Sure, Long Pond is close by. Get your pulse rate up on the nice whitewater of Bog River, and Catamount Pond is a nice lake close by. Round Pond is located in the Adirondack Mountains. Round Pond is a tremendous location to visit for more than one day, Robinson's Iga is a tremendous location to camp nearby; there is a glorious hiking       trail close by called the Sixmile Creek Trail. The amount of rainfall that falls at Round Pond is close to the national average; August is the wettest month with most rain; February on the other hand is the driest. Having a nice time in the Adirondack Mountains is painless. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Round Pond. Blue Jay Campsites is a good local campground; Round Pond is not far at all from Malone. Summertime highs at Round Pond mostly                  tend to be in the 70's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Round Pond. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining things the Adirondack Mountains has to offer.
