Beautiful Round Pond has much to offer visitors. You're in all probability hooked on lakes, Spring Lake is one of those nearby, and there are plenty of people from Pittsfield here. Hiking along the Brickhouse Mountain Trail is delightful fun, and after a long day outdoors Jericho Valley Inn is a good location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Jiminy Peak is a pleasant place to get some rest; camping at Broken Wheel Campground is always a magnificent experience. For the duration of the summer months at Round Pond highs are frequently in the 80's, and the overnight is rather cooler of course, usually in the 60's. the wintertime are in the 10's. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Southeast Hollow Trail, and why not head up to Mount Greylock Ski Club and strap some skis to your feet. This place is peerless, just check out all the fun
stuff to do close to Round Pond. Take a hike on the Taconic Skyline Trail, and Round Pond is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Alps Family Campground is a nice local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Capital District Forest
And Game Refuge is a splendid forest area close to Round Pond, and Jiminy Peak is a very popular ski area in the vicinity. Round Pond gets a typical amount of yearly rain; July is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month of the year is February.
