Salmon River has a perfect whitewater paddling spot close by, and if you need a place to stay Travelodge Pulaski is a pleasant choice. The high level of rain makes Round Pond a pretty wet site; through November this area sees the most rain while March is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Round Pond is a good place       to visit for more than one day, Cannon's Place Campground is a good place to camp nearby, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Pulaski is a great site to spend a night or two. High temperatures at Round Pond through the summer are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Round Pond.
