Have a perfect hiking adventure along the Stillwell Lake Trail; after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites West Point-Ft Montgomery, Ny is a magnificent site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Near Round Pond you discover glorious places like Deep Hollow; since you're here you can take a hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. Soar down the rapids of Popolopen Creek in a kayak,       and the skiing at Mt. Peter is tremendous. If you came to camp Sebago Cabins Harriman is a wonderful location to do that; Black Rock is a peak you can see from Round Pond. Just can't get enough of Round Pond. There's so much to do here at Round Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Beaver Pond is a fine location for that, and a round of golf at nearby Central Valley Golf Club is a splendid way to kill some time. Long Pond Brook flows through this                  region; not far from Round Pond you'll stumble on Roe Pond which is a delightful lake. So many amusing things to do at Round Pond, so little time. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Moodna Creek. This lake is so wonderful. On a splendid day at Round Pond you can take a hike along the Woodtown Trail, and if you need a place to stay Econo Lodge Highland Falls is a brilliant choice. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Sterling Forest is near Round Pond. Lakes are splendid; Sutherland Pond is a lake that's near Round Pond. Summertime highs at Round Pond typically tend to be in the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and overnight lows through the winter for Round Pond tend to be in the 10's.
