Round Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. So many fun things to do in the Adirondack Mountains, not enough time. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by McCauley Mountain; why not take a refreshing hike along the Stone Dam Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You're in all probability hooked on lakes, Mudhole Pond is one of those close by. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Lost Lake is close

You'll need more than a day to discover everything Round Pond has to offer, you can camp at Moose River Camp Grounds; the snow is pleasant at Woods Valley. But wait, there's more to do close to Round Pond. Moose River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by, and hiking along the Twin Lakes Trail is glorious fun.
