A brilliant place to camp here at Round Pond is Kayuta Lake Campground, and Moose River is a good whitewater spot nearby. Yeah, come up here to the Adirondack Mountains for a great time. Country Club Motel is a splendid spot to get some rest; the slopes of McCauley Mountain are so inviting nobody can resist. Round Pond is a good spot of normal precipitation; August is       the month that gets the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. A great nearby hotel is Brantingham Inn Motel, and there's some flowing water close by, Otter Lake Outlet is a stream you can check out during your stay. There is a great hiking trail next to Round Pond called the Twin Lakes Trail, and hey, Gotta ski right? Woods Valley is a fine place to do that. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable                  stuff at Round Pond. Camping at Moose River Camp Grounds is always a fine experience, and there are plenty of folks from Utica-Rome here. For the duration of the days of summer, highs usually are in the 70's at Round Pond. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's while Round Pond overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. Lakes? Sure, Brandy Lake is in close proximity; if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Stone Dam Trail. Round Pond is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains. All the outdoors fun things in the Adirondack Mountains will keep you coming back repeatedly.
