The beauty of Round Pond attracts many people from all around. And if that's not sufficient there's plenty more amusing things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Do take a look at Lost Pond in close proximity to Round Pond, it's a pretty lake, and Moose River - Middle Branch has a splendid whitewater paddling spot nearby. Really perfect skiing awaits you at Woods Valley, and you're sure to run into some nice people from Utica-Rome here. This place, Round

Just can't get enough of the Adirondack Mountains. Why not camp at Cold Brook Campsites since you're here at Round Pond, and if you're here, you could go to Otter Lake Outlet. getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Moose River. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Moose River Camp Grounds is a splendid place to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Near Round Pond
you locate the Stone Dam Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail, and skiing at McCauley Mountain is one of those things you just must do. Round Pond gets a typical amount of rainfall; all through August this area sees the most rain,
and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. All through the days of summer, highs generally are in the 70's at Round Pond. All through the moonlight hours it's commonly
in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are typically in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Round Pond.

Forty Mountain Trail
 | 11 miles away Since 2001, it has become a bushwhack and can be close to impossible in the spring and summer to find the blazes that indicate the trail. Wet seasons can make the slopes tretcherous, and the trail dissapears at the base of the mountain. One must plot a compass course or use a GPS. There are a golf driving range, volley ball net, horseshoes, rec hall, swimming pool, book exchange, wifi hot spot, and hayrides. Our hayrides guide you through the neighboring farm. We drive through the sugarbush. Maple syrup from the farm is for sale in the store. While doing your laundry you can bring you computer and sit in the lounge to catch up on your email, watch a movie, play a game, read a book or browse through the antiques qnd gifts.
