Irondequoit Creek is a wonderful whitewater spot near Round Pond, and the summit of Paddy Hill can be seen from Round Pond. Hampton Inn Rochester North is a tremendous place to get some rest; camping is available       at Hamlin Beach State Park. At Round Pond during the days of summer highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and night lows during the winter for Round Pond tend to be in the 10's. O'Neil Point is in the neighborhood and always delightful to stop at, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Rochester here. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Erie Canal near Round Pond;                  a pretty lake like Buck Pond is a wonderful spot to visit. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn West is a great spot to spend a night or two, and it's a great idea to visit Fleming Creek. Yeah, come here to Round Pond for a great time.
