If you like lakes and you're in this part of New York you can check out Round Pond. The yearly rain here at Round Pond is about average; May is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. For you golfers we recommend close by Silo Ridge Country Club, and there are some tremendous whitewater spots on Ten Mile River. is a beach close by that you can go to. Here at Round Pond you can catch a glimpse of King Hill; a great place to camp here at Round Pond is Taconic State Park Rudd Pond.
For the duration of the warm months here at Round Pond,
high temperatures regularly reach the 80's with night lows in the 50's. All through the winter highs are mostly in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Round Pond. Go for a hike on the Northrop Trail, and as expected
Beardsley Pond Brook is a lovely stream that is worth stopping at. A wonderful nearby hotel is The Cottages At Kent Road, and why not camp at Oleana Family Camp Grounds if you're here at Round Pond.
Hit the slopes at Mohawk Mountain
in close proximity, and there's whitewater on Housatonic River for all you adrenaline kick people. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Round Pond.
