Throughout the summertime months at Round Lake highs are frequently in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. Lower Cascade Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and Econo Lodge Lake Placid is a great place to get some rest. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all
the exciting things at Round Lake. If you come at the right time of year, Ausable River - West Branch offers some tremendous whitewater. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Round Lake has to offer, you can camp at Whispering
Pines Campground.
You truly must fancy the Adirondack Mountains. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Ausable River - West Branch, and the skiing at Mount Pisgah is nice. From a rainfall point of view Round Lake is a relatively normal
place; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is February. If you need a place to stay Courtyard Lake Placid is a splendid choice, and if you get bored of Round Lake you could also visit close by Connery Pond.
