Be careful coming to the Adirondack Mountains, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Go for a hike on the Indian Pass Trail; lakes are such calm spots, why not pop by Bullhead Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Roper Pond is a wonderful location to visit for more than one day, Smoke Rise Campsites is a wonderful location to camp nearby, and at Roper Pond you can spot Crusher Hill. Summer at Roper Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. All through

| | the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Roper Pond temperatures drop to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. And that's not all you can do here at Roper Pond. There is a great hiking trail near Roper Pond called the Elk Lake Marcy Trail; get yourself into a kayak and hit Boreas River. nearby, and there are some great whitewater spots on Balm of Gilead Brook. That right there is a lot of exciting things already but it goes on, the Adirondack Mountains has it all. Very scenic scenery and magnificent skiing is
what you get at Gore Mountain, and going for a hike on the Dividing Ridge Trail is always a delightful adventure. An average amount of rainfall falls at Roper Pond; August is when you get the most rain here, and February meanwhile
is the driest month. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. Courtyard Lake Placid is a tremendous place to get some rest, and a scenic lake like Twentyninth Pond is a pleasant site to stop by.
