Roosa Lake gets a good deal of water; all through the month of November you get the most rain around here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Take a look at nearby Vly Swamp. This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Stone Dock Golf Course, and gorgeous scenery and good skiing is what you get at Hunter Mountain. Paddling on Rochester Creek is so much fun, and camping is available at So-hi Campground.       Why not camp at Rondout Valley Camping Resort since you're here at Roosa Lake. Lakes are delightful; Beaver Lake is a lake that's close to Roosa Lake. Roosa Lake is a place with many visitors from Kingston, and close by you come across the Phoenicia Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail. Summertime highs at Roosa Lake mostly tend to be in the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's with winter                  lows in the 0's overnight here at Roosa Lake. Having a delightful time at Roosa Lake is easy. Dry warm beds await you at Mohonk Mountain House, and if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along the Kanape Jeep Trail. The Vernooy Falls Trail is a nice hiking trail in close proximity to Roosa Lake; after a long day outdoors Lexington at Hudson Valley Resort is a nice place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful.
