Roosa Lake is a nice lake to visit. Get dripping wet paddling on Rochester Creek. Just can't get enough of Roosa Lake. Going for a hike on the Vernooy Falls Trail is always a good adventure; a splendid nearby hotel is Sparrowhawk Affaires. This lake is so wonderful. Near Roosa Lake you locate the Kanape Jeep Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Rondout Valley Camping Resort is a glorious place to camp. Hunter

| | Mountain has great slopes and a friendly staff, and why not camp at So-hi Campground if you're here at Roosa Lake. There are brilliant places to discover along the Phoenicia Trail, and of course, this is a magnificent area for folks who like lakes, Ashokan Reservoir is a lake in close proximity. Swamps don’t sound that perfect but Vly Swamp next to Roosa Lake is rather perfect, and if you need a place to stay Lexington at Hudson Valley Resort is a good choice. | |

Roosa Lake gets a great deal of water; the month with most of the rain is November, and February is the month with the least moisture. Summertime highs at Roosa Lake typically tend to be in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. Throughout
the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Roosa Lake sink into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Rondout Creek, and near Roosa Lake
you locate a golf course called Stone Dock Golf Course. You'll meet a lot of people from Kingston here; some close by water includes Beaverdam Creek.
