Ronna Pond is a great place to camp, Birch Haven is a great place, and you're probably hooked on lakes, Ireland Vly is one of those nearby. The slopes of Hickory Ski Center are so inviting nobody can resist, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Sacandaga River. This lake is so wonderful. Black Creek is a gorgeous stream that is worth stopping at; there's whitewater on East Stony       Creek for all you adrenaline people. Be careful coming to Ronna Pond, you might not ever wanna return back home again. Mc Conchie Heritage Acres Camp Grounds is a good campground here, and there are plenty of folks from Gloversville here. A splendid close by hotel is Four Seasons Motel, and Graves Vly is a swamp close to Ronna Pond. Broadalbin Hotel is a good place to get some rest; an afternoon playing golf at Galway Golf Course is always a bliss. Ronna                  Pond regularly gets lots of rain; September is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. All through the summer months, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Ronna Pond; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
