Rome Reservoir is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. If you came for an overnight stay Delta Lake State Park is a glorious spot to camp, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Fish Creek - East Branch. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at CMA Campground, and if you're a golfer then a splendid close by course is Sleepy Hollow Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski! A tremendous nearby hotel is Red Carpet Inn Rome; people from Utica-Rome love to come here. If you come at the right time of year, Mohawk River offers some tremendous whitewater, and Fort Stanwix National Monument is a very delightful location to stop by. Very striking scenery and great skiing is what you get at Snow Ridge, and while you're here, you could go to Big Gulf.

If you need a site to stay Paul Revere Lodge is a great choice, and Delta Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could visit. All the water falling down from the sky makes Rome Reservoir a wet spot; most of the rain falls all through
November while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. During the long summer days here at Rome Reservoir, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Rome Reservoir.
