Rockland Lake is a lake worth visiting. Rockland Lake is a relatively wet place mostly with a lot of precipitation; July is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is February. Now, you may believe that's plenty but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Rockland Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Nyack On Hudson, and going for a hike on the Woodtown Trail is always a glorious adventure. Summertime highs at Rockland

| | Lake typically tend to be in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Rockland Lake. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this site. Hook Mountain is uncomplicated to spot from Rockland Lake, and there are pleasant sites to explore along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. is a great hiking trail close by called the Suffern-Bear Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Rockland Lake is near Trough Hollow which is definitely worth going to; if you get bored of Rockland Lake you could also pop by
nearby Swartwont Lake. A lake close by is Congers Lake, and you're sure to run into some cheerful people from New York-Newark-Edison here. If you need a location to stay New York City/Nyack Super 8 Motel is a great choice. You'll
need more than a day to explore everything Rockland Lake has to offer, you can camp at Kaufmann Henry Campgrounds. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Popolopen
Creek, and golf can be played at Manhattan Woods Golf Club. Stay the night at Trailmark Outdoor Adventures; there's whitewater on Ramapo River for all you adrenaline people.
