Rockefeller Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. From a precipitation point of view Rockefeller Lake is a reasonably typical place; during the month of May you get the most rain around here; February is the month with the least moisture. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Windham Mountain, and you'll stumble on a scenic lake called Colgate Lake. If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in the Catskill Mountains. | | paddling on Basic Creek, and do check out North Lake, it's a beautiful lake. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things in the Catskill Mountains. After a long day outdoors Hotel Mountain Brook is a great spot to spend a night or two, and if you came for an overnight stay Doherty's Mountain Campground is a delightful site to camp. This lake is one of the great places here in the Catskill Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. | |

A quick journey to Basic Creek right next door to Rockefeller Lake is a magnificent idea, and Rockefeller Lake is right by the Spruceton Trail. For the duration of the summer at Rockefeller Lake temperatures are generally in the
70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's while Rockefeller Lake night low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 0's. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf
course like Thunderhart Golf Course, and camping is available at Torchlight Campsites. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Hotel Vienna is a delightful choice, and whitewater paddling is great on Catskill Creek.
If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Rockefeller Lake. Take a hike on the Willow Trail, and the skiing at Hunter Mountain is good.
