     Rock Pond is always a pleasure to visit. The high level of rainfall makes Rock Pond a reasonably wet spot; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! Rock Pond rules! If you need a site to stay Hedges is a tremendous choice; since you're here you have to check out Bluff Point. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Rock Pond highs are usually in the 70's. For  
   the duration of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Rock Pond sink into the 0's.
There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Adirondack Mountains. Good hiking is available along the Sucker Brook Trail; a fine close by hotel is Hemlock Hall. Rock Pond is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Whispering woods is a brilliant
 
               local campground, and if you've had enough of Rock Pond, Blue Mountain Lake is close by. Yep, outdoors exciting things truly is bountiful here in the Adirondack Mountains.
A perfect place to camp here at Rock Pond is Tioga Point State Campground; there's whitewater on Raquette River for all you adrenaline kick people. This lake is so wonderful. There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Cedar River, and don't leave Rock Pond without first going for a hike along the Northville Lake Placid Trail. Rock Pond is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains.
