    If you are in this part of New York make sure to pay a visit to Rock Pond. And that's not all the things to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. Bell Mountain Pond is a nearby lake that you could go to; there's whitewater on Cedar River for all you adrenaline kick people. Indian River is one of the streams close by that might be worth taking a look at, and Rock Pond is right by the Northville Lake Placid Trail. High temperatures at Rock Pond through the months  
   of summer are in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are commonly in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Rock Pond temperatures drop to the 0's.
This lake is so wonderful. A typical amount of rain falls here at Rock Pond; through the month of August you get the most rain around here; the driest month is February. So many cool things in the Adirondack
 
               Mountains, just fantastic. At Rock Pond you can catch a glimpse of Bad Luck Mountain; do take a hike on the Oregon Trail.
Rock Pond is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Mountain Lake Inn, and you can have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Sucker Brook Trail. On a wonderful day you can pop by McGinn Meadows, a swamp close to Rock Pond, and you can stay the night at Whispering woods.
Rock Pond really is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. Get your heart pumping on the magnificent whitewater of Indian River, and Gore Mountain is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood.
