The beauty of Rock Pond attracts many people from all around. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a fine time here at Rock Pond. If you like swamps, you're in luck, McGinn Meadows is right nearby, and if you came for an overnight stay Cedar Pond Campground is a magnificent spot to camp. The Oregon Trail is a good hiking trail next to Rock Pond; Indian River is one of the streams nearby that might be worth going to. Rock Pond gets a typical amount of annual

| | precipitation; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. High temperatures at Rock Pond all through the summer months are in the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs through the winter are generally in the 20's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Rock Pond fall into the 0's. just come on up to the Adirondack Mountains. Gore Mountain is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood, and if the weather is wonderful, you obtain a good panorama of Bad Luck Mountain from Rock Pond. This is a splendid area
for folks who like lakes. Lake Abanakee is a lake in the neighborhood, and Hoss's Country Campground is a fine local campground. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Best Western Mountain
Lake Inn is a good site to get some rest; close by you hit upon the Sucker Brook Trail which is a perfect hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart pumping on the magnificent whitewater of Indian River; most likely you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Carter Pond is just a very short distance away.
