Throughout the months of summer at Rock Lake temperatures are mostly in the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and night lows throughout the winter for Rock Lake tend to be in the 10's. On a good day at Rock Lake you can take a hike along the Crawford Trail, and going for a hike along the Schiff       Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. Rock Lake frequently gets lots of rain; August is the wettest month with most rain; February is when it's the driest. There are some delightful whitewater spots on Delaware River, and a good close by hotel is The Lodge at Woodloch. Lander's River Trips is a brilliant campground nearby, and do explore Mahls Pond, it's a beautiful lake. This lake is so wonderful. Grassy Swamp Pond is a nearby lake that                  you could visit; if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Steam Mill Trail. You think that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. This lake is so wonderful. Rock Lake is a pleasant site to visit for more than one day, Kittatiny Campgrounds is a pleasant site to camp nearby, and if you have the time, Delaware National Scenic River is a national park worth stopping at. You absolutely have to fancy Rock Lake. The slopes of Ski Big Bear are so inviting noone can resist, and getting to East Branch Tenmile River from Rock Lake is easy.
