     Rock Lake is right by the Salmon Lake Trail; this is a popular place for folks from Ogdensburg-Massena. Yep, outdoors cool things to do are in fact plentiful here at Rock Lake. Soar down the rapids of Oswegatchie River - East Branch in a kayak, and Mud Pond is a great lake close by. Rock Lake is a good place of typical precipitation; the wettest month of the year is regularly August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is February.
If
 
   you need a place to stay Best Western University Inn is a splendid choice, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Post Henderson Trail. During the days of summer at Rock Lake highs are typically in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 20's with temperatures at Rock Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. Hiking along the The Loop is great fun, and paddling on Little  
               River is so much fun.
This lake is so wonderful. From Rock Lake you get a splendid view of Panther Mountain; a lovely lake like Sucker Lake is a pleasant site to visit.
