If you are in Hamilton county it's always a good idea to stop by Rock Lake. Rock Lake is located in the Adirondack Mountains. Now, you may imagine that's a load but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. Lakes are great; First Lake is a lake that's close to Rock Lake; Rock Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Hoss's Country Campground is a nice local campground. the Hamilton Mountain Fire Tower Trail, and you're almost certainly into lakes, Grassy Pond is one of those nearby.
Yeah, come here to Rock Lake for a pleasant time. Take a side tour to Dun Brook, and whitewater paddling is not
for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Rock River. A common amount of precipitation falls here at Rock Lake; August is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
A good site to camp here at Rock Lake is Whispering woods, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Sucker Brook Trail.
Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Rock Lake with overnight lows in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Rock Lake.
