Throughout the summer at Rio Reservoir highs are usually in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Rio Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Tri-State RV Park is a brilliant spot to do that, and a nice location for whitewater paddling is Mongaup River. Some close by water includes Bush Kill, and in the       event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Delaware River. Hiking along the Schiff Trail is great fun, and dry warm beds await you at Hotel Fauchere. There's so much to do here at Rio Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Kittatinny Campgrounds is a pleasant location for that, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Holiday Mountain. From a rain point of view Rio Reservoir is a reasonably                  normal place; May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. You could also check out Mohican Lake since you're here at Rio Reservoir; it's nearby, and do take a hike on the Lost Cabin Trail. Yep, outdoors entertaining things to do are truly abundant here at Rio Reservoir.
