Peter if you're here. This location rocks, just explore all the cool things to do right next door to Rings Pond. Visit Moodna Creek while you're here at Rings Pond. There are some glorious whitewater spots on Popolopen Creek; a glorious close by hotel is Windsor Motel. All the water falling down from the sky makes Rings Pond a wet location;       the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. You might want to pay a visit to Black Rock Hollow since you're here at Rings Pond, and Econo Lodge Near Stewart International Airport is a good site to get some rest. Camping at Beaver Pond is always a good experience, and what would winter be without some skiing at Sterling Forest. Throughout the summer highs here at Rings Pond                  reach the 70's while overnight lows are usually in the 60's. Through the winter the highs are frequently in the 30's while Rings Pond overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to check out Plum Point since you're here at Rings Pond, and do take a hike on the Ramapo-Dunderberg Trail. The Stillwell Lake Trail offers hiking at its best, and Rings Pond is not the only place close by, Breeds Pond is a close by lake. Looking for something close to Rings Pond? Aleck Meadow Reservoir is nearby, and Black Rock can be distinguished from Rings Pond. So much enjoyable stuff to do at Rings Pond, so little time.
