If you get bored of Lake Riley, you could also explore close by Cobbs Hill Reservoir, and after a long day outdoors Strathallan Hotel is a magnificent place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Get covered with water paddling on Erie Canal, and if the weather is beautiful, you obtain a great panorama of Cobbs Hill from Lake Riley.       Just can't get enough of Lake Riley. Gotta ski! Bristol Mountain is a brilliant place to do that, and you'll possibly meet some folks from Rochester here. Summertime highs at Lake Riley mostly tend to be in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; night lows at Lake Riley throughout the winter usually sink into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Lake Riley that                  you need to camp here for a while, Blackwalnut Campground is a perfect place for that, and soar down the rapids of Irondequoit Creek in a kayak.
