Dry warm beds await you at Howard Johnson Hotel, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Green Ridge Golf Club. While you're here at Ridgebury Lake you can take a hike along the Peenpack Trail, and a day on the slopes of Mt. Peter is just what you need. This lake is so wonderful. The summit of Guinea Hill can be made out from Ridgebury Lake. Lakes are magnificent; Monhagen       Lake is a lake that's next to Ridgebury Lake. Ridgebury Lake is a wet place that gets a lot of rainfall; most of the rain falls all through May, and February is the month with the least moisture. The Huckleberry Hills is one of the things that make Ridgebury Lake so glorious, and going for a hike along the Comfort Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Ridgebury Lake with night lows in the                  50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's; overnight lows during the winter for Ridgebury Lake tend to be in the 10's. A brilliant spot to camp here at Ridgebury Lake is Korn's Shawangunk, and there's whitewater on Clove Brook for all you adrenaline rush seekers. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Why not camp at Black Bear Campground while you're here at Ridgebury Lake, and let's not forget Joe Creek which is a stream that you may bump into during your stay. The skiing at Hidden Valley is delightful. This lake is so wonderful.
