Peter close at hand. Ridgebury Lake gets lots of water; May is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest. This is no site for people who don’t like to have a good time. That right there is loads already, but it carries on; Ridgebury Lake has it all. If you came to camp Black Bear Campground is a fine site to do that, and Days Inn Middletown       is a great place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Playing golf is lots of fun at Green Ridge Golf Club; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Hidden Valley. There is a splendid hiking trail next to Ridgebury Lake called the Peenpack Trail; dry warm beds await you at Howard Johnson Hotel - Middletown. For the period of the summertime months, highs generally are in the 70's at Ridgebury Lake, and the overnight is a tad                  colder of course, usually in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Ridgebury Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. Joe Creek is a nice location to take a look at. There's so much to do here at Ridgebury Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Korn's Shawangunk is a nice place for that. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Neversink River; the vista of gorgeous Guinea Hill is perfect. There's whitewater on Clove Brook for all you adrenaline people, and Ridgebury Lake is not the only spot nearby, Lake Pocatello is a nearby lake. Looking for something near Ridgebury Lake?
