    The beauty of Reservoir Number One is reason enough to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Delaware River for all you adrenaline kick people, and do take a hike on the Bald Hill Trail. Head up to Holiday Mountain and strap some skis to your feet, and Hotel Fauchere is a fine site to get some rest. Why not explore Carpenters Point also since you're here, and you can run the rapids of Mongaup River.
All the water falling down from the sky
 
   makes Reservoir Number One a wet location; May is when you get the most rain here; the driest month of the year is February. So much exciting stuff to do here at Reservoir Number One, too good to be true. Why not camp at Shippekonk Campground since you're here at Reservoir Number One; a day on the slopes of Mountain Creek is just what you need. If you need a place to stay Best Western Inn At Hunt's Landing is a good choice.
This lake is so wonderful. You
 
               can make out Point Peter from Reservoir Number One, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Lost Cabin Trail. Summertime highs at Reservoir Number One commonly tend to be in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and night lows in the 10's for Reservoir Number One. Near Reservoir Number One you stumble on Delaware River Gorge which is a great place to stop at, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Reservoir Number One; Peenpack Trail is a good local trail.
A nice location to camp here at Reservoir Number One is Tri-State RV Park, and some of the water nearby flows, like Clove Brook.
