There are some great whitewater spots on Mohawk River, and Earlton Hill is a tremendous campground here. The warmest time of the year at Rensselaer Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. For
the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Rensselaer Lake temperatures fall to the 10's.
