Rendert Pond you obtain a great panorama of Bailey Mountain, and nice skiing awaits you at Jiminy Peak. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Bousquet; Rendert Pond is not far at all from Hudson. Whohoo, so many
enjoyable things in one place! Rendert Pond is great!. Burden Lake Country Club is a great golf course close by, and not far from Rendert Pond you'll locate Pikes Pond which is a beautiful lake. This lake is so wonderful. There is
a good hiking trail next to Rendert Pond called the Southeast Hollow Trail. Lakes? Sure, Big Bowman Pond is nearby. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn & Suites is a fine site to spend a night or two; going for a hike on the
Brickhouse Mountain Trail is always a perfect adventure. A pleasant location to camp here at Rendert Pond is Alps Family Campground, and glide down the rapids of Poesten Kill River in a kayak.

 | this is a gREAt campground for people with children. They make you feel great about camping. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking. I would recomended this campground 110 percent!!!!...alps is the most awesome place to camp.they offer everything and anything there. we saw what they did at the 4th of july and the kids loved it. I advice any parents that have have kids to take them there........they WON'T be disapointed... |

Nassau, a nice boulder garden class II-III proceeds, with water attractions all the way to Valatie. Getting out at Valatie is difficult but necessary before the dam....There are two impassable waterfalls 60 plus feet high about two miles south of the Valatie water fall. There is no viable way around these falls without climbing down steep cliffs. We stopped about a half mile above the two stuyvesant falls. My understanding is there are old mill dams before you get to stockport. Somebody gave you really bad dangerous info.... |
