Throughout the months of summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Rendert Pond. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Rendert Pond are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Rendert Pond without first going for a hike along the Brickhouse       Mountain Trail, and a brilliant close by hotel is Comfort Inn & Suites East Greenbush. At Rendert Pond you can see Bailey Mountain; Big Bowman Pond is a nearby lake that you could check out. Camping is available at Dingman's Campgrounds, and if you're a golfer then a splendid close by course is Burden Lake Country Club. Knights Inn Castleton on Hudson/Schodack is a magnificent spot to get some rest, and camping at Alps Family Campground is always a splendid experience.                  This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Poesten Kill River; this is a popular place for folks from Hudson. Going for a hike on the Taconic Skyline Trail is always a good adventure, and if you're here, you could also take a look at gorgeous Pikes Pond. Now, you may feel that's heaps but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Rendert Pond. Go for a hike on the Southeast Hollow Trail; delightful skiing awaits you at Bousquet. From a precipitation point of view Rendert Pond is a rather common location; the month with most of the rain is June, and the driest of the months is February.
