Duck Pond is a pleasant lake next to Reeves Pond. All the water falling down from the sky makes Reeves Pond a wet place; through May this area sees the most rain; the driest month is February. Very beautiful scenery and wonderful skiing is what you get at Thunder Ridge, and after a long day outdoors Hilton Garden Inn Poughkeepsie/Fishkill is a good site to spend       a night or two. Why not go to nearby Sand Spring Brook while you're here at Reeves Pond, and if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Popolopen Creek. Through the summer highs here at Reeves Pond get into the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Reeves Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Playing golf is lots of fun at The Garrison                  Golf Club, and if the weather is glorious, you can go for a hike along the Stillwell Lake Trail. The Thayer Hotel is a fine place to get some rest, and there are other sites here than Reeves Pond, for example Catfish Pond. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff at Reeves Pond. While you're here at Reeves Pond you can take a hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, and you can stay the night at Sebago Cabins Harriman. This lake is so wonderful.
